Way of the Master -

Hello Everybody! I hope you are having a good week. Here is your weekly update on what's happening in the Driven class.

THIS WEEK

This past Sunday we got together to look at the 6th session in The Way of the Master series titled "Answering the Top Ten Questions". We looked at some of the tough questions that Christians are sometimes asked and some practical answers to many of those questions. We finished up by beginning a clip of Kirk in an interesting situation with several gang members. You don't want to miss the conclusion of that clip at the beginniong of next week's class.


TAKE AWAY

At Home Preparation: Take out your Quick Reference Card (use the below if you don't have one... more on order) and practice using this approach with a family member. Practice until you are comfortable using these easy stepping stones.

Real-World Application: Pray for God to give you an opportunity to use this to share his gospel with an unsaved person... Remember its the most important thing in the world and has eternal implications. Deliver the message and leave the rest up to God...

Memory Verse: "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." ROMANS 5:8

NEXT WEEK

Coming up next Sunday we'll finish up our discussion on the Top Ten Questions. Be ready to discuss the method of sharing our faith that we should be very familiar with at this point. I've listed the steps below:

W - Would you consider yourself a good person?
D - Do you think you have kept the Ten Commandments?
J - Judgment - If God were to judge you by the Ten Commandments, do you think you would be guilty or innocent
D - Destiny - Do you think you would go to heaven or hell?

C - Concern - Does that concern you?
C - Cross - Jesus suffered for our sins, died and rose from the dead
R - Repentance - Confess and forsake all sin.
A - And
F - Faith - More than belief, it's truth in Jesus for salvation.
T - Truth - Point to the truth of the Bible and encourage them to get right with God today.


COMING UP!!!!

It's Time for another TAILGATE PARTY!!! On November the 9th we are planning on finishing up the Way of the Mastert series with a Tailgate Party. Plan on wearing your favorite team jerseys and bringing your appetite. You are also encouraged to invite your FRAN's to get to know our class and church. If you have any ideas on what we should do for food, feel free to email me your ideas. We'll discuss this week.
