I came across this and was really challenged. Why do we go to church? What is the point? I don't ask the question because I'm advocating skipping church from now on. I don't think I'm alone when I say that I hope there is more to it than showing up. Maybe instead of church being a place that I go, it should be something I take with me. What if church was "an opportunity to prove what we say we believe with our lives" What if church "wasn't a place we go, but something we do?"
It's hard to watch this and just turn away when it's over. Is my church attendance something I do or is it a part of who I am. If I don't take it out the door with me, it's just an event that isn't connected to the rest of my life. What do you think about this?
